Job Description
Role: GCP Data Engineer
Experience: 5 to 12 Years
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming languages: Python, Java
- Expertise in data processing frameworks: Apache Beam (Dataflow)
- Hands-on experience with GCP tools and technologies including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Cloud Spanner, GCS, and DBT
- Strong data engineering skillset utilizing Python and SQL
- Proven experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform is desirable; strong understanding of Kafka (Batch/Streaming) required
- Solid understanding of data modeling with experience in ETL design and build, including database replication using message-based CDC
- Familiarity with cloud storage solutions
