Security Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Security Professional to provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise across Data Security, IBM Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), Cloud Security, Database Security, Application Security, Kubernetes/EKS, IAM, and enterprise security integrations. The Security SME will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, integration, rollout, operation, troubleshooting, hardening, and continuous improvement of the Cloud Security, DAM Appliance, and broader data-security environment. Key responsibilities include leading the implementation and operationalization of IBM DAM across enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and critical business use cases; designing and maintaining DAM security policies, monitoring rules, and access controls aligned with Zero Trust and compliance standards; performing platform health checks, tuning, and lifecycle management; providing L2/L3 technical support and root-cause analysis for complex security events; conducting threat modeling using STRIDE and attack-surface analysis; reviewing cloud/hybrid architectures for security risks; and partnering with cross-functional teams to embed security-by-design principles throughout the technology lifecycle. The role also involves supporting risk assessments, audits, compliance reviews, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the enterprise security posture.
