Job Description
Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which need to be deployed at a client end and ensure they meet 100% quality assurance parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements & Design: Instrumental in understanding product/software requirements and design. Develop solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigate problem areas following the SDLC. Facilitate root cause analysis, identify performance improvement ideas, analyze client requirements, and collaborate with functional teams/systems analysts.
2. Coding & Module Development: Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development. Determine operational feasibility, develop and automate processes for software validation by designing and executing test cases/scenarios. Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces. Ensure bug-free code, prepare project specification reports, compile comprehensive documentation, coordinate daily progress, and provide usability feedback.
3. Status Reporting & Customer Focus: Capture all client requirements and clarifications. Gather regular feedback to ensure smooth, on-time delivery. Participate in continuous education and training. Consult engineering staff on software-hardware interfaces. Document solutions with flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and clear code. Maintain high-quality customer interactions and respond timely to requests.
Performance Parameters:
- Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring: 100% error-free onboarding & implementation, throughput %, adherence to schedule/release plan.
- Quality & CSAT: On-time delivery, troubleshooting, customer experience management, completion of skill-upgradation certifications.
- MIS & Reporting: 100% on-time MIS & report generation.
