As a Software Engineer II at Deloitte Consulting, you will deliver backend and front-end engineering solutions that support enterprise-scale applications and client transformations. You will apply experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to build maintainable, secure, and scalable solutions while contributing to delivery quality, process improvement, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Building and enhancing Angular applications using TypeScript, reactive programming patterns, and integration with RESTful services.
- Supporting solution design decisions by evaluating technical approaches, identifying risks, and contributing to secure, maintainable, and performant implementations.
- Performing testing, debugging, defect management, documentation, and production issue resolution across the SDLC.
- Contributing to process improvements, automation, delivery metric tracking, knowledge sharing, and development of tools or accelerators.

Qualifications:
Must Have: Core JAVA & Backend engineering (4-7 years, Java 8+), Object-Oriented design, clean coding, refactoring. Strong understanding of Exception Handling, Collections, Concurrency, Streams, Lambdas. Spring & Enterprise Frameworks: Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, Spring Boot/Spring Security/Spring Cloud. Data persistence: RDBMS & SQL/NoSQL, normalization, ORM/JPA (Hibernate). Testing & Debugging: JUnit, performance troubleshooting, production issue resolution. Angular (4-7 years): TypeScript, ES6+, components, modules, services, DI, routing, guards, forms. Proficiency with RxJS, observables, operators. State management (NgRx). UI fundamentals: HTML/CSS, responsive design, accessibility. Integration with backend via REST/GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger. Authentication/Authorization: OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, interceptors, route guards. Testing: Jasmine/Karma/Jest, E2E (Playwright/Cypress). Angular performance optimization. Soft Skills: Strong communication, client-facing experience, collaboration, ownership-driven approach.

Good to Have: Oracle Certified Associate/Professional Java, Agile/Scrum or SAFe environments, industry domain awareness.

Education: BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) or equivalent.
Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune. Shift: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST.
