Job Description
Role: Capacity Infra Engineer
Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Location: Chennai
Must-Have Competencies:
- Understanding of Midrange server (Linux/Unix/Wintel) capacity infrastructure
- Working experience on projects or initiatives for Server capacity planning
- Monitoring capacity violations/incidents and alerting on server resources (CPU, memory, disk, network) using various APM tools
- Working experience with Splunk (creating dashboards/writing queries)
- Usage of models for Server capacity forecasting
- Knowledge on optimizing server usage/performance metrics
- Knowledge on APM/Performance Testing/Load Balancing/Capacity Management using tools like Dynatrace/TSCO
Good-to-Have Competencies:
- Understanding of Data Center/Container infrastructure
- Demand forecasting (Analyzing UCL test)
- Python skills for automation
- Problem management using Remedy
