Project Consultant Functional Transformation - Sales & Service - Salesforce Functional Validation Fixed Term Hire

Position Summary
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high-quality work products within due timelines. You may mentor and/or direct junior team members and liaise with onsite/offshore teams to understand functional requirements.

Work you’ll do:
• Independently design, build, and deliver medium/high complexity stories using standard estimation methods.
• Own medium-complex modules; perform PoCs, grooming, and present design options to Team Leads. Drive technical grooming and participate in solutioning.
• Engage juniors to follow best practices, perform code reviews, and coordinate with onshore/client teams to build client rapport.
• Define release management strategy, pipeline management, and repository integration with DevOps. Support weekly status reports and leverage Delivery Excellence/automation tools.
• Configure and extend Agentforce/GenAI components; perform PoCs for GenAI-powered features. Mentor Analysts on technical tasks and support solutioning.

Qualifications:
Must Have:
• 3-6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce implementations and testing.
• 2+ years of consulting experience in Functional Validation/Testing with exposure to Salesforce applications and integrations to various mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of Profiles, roles, security, workflows, validation rules, custom objects, reports, and dashboards.
• Experience in documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies.
• Good knowledge of test management processes and Agile implementations contributing to QA activities in a sprint.
• Ability to define, understand, or conduct cross-browser and usability testing.
• Hands-on experience performing functional/non-functional testing of web applications.
• Exposure to automation or performance testing or any programming language.
• Good knowledge of Salesforce testing tools like Workbench, integration testing using Postman/SOAP APIs, and migration testing across various loads.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Good to Have:
• Familiarity with developer/engineering tools, technical knowledge around build installation, and technology trends.
• Exposure to testing types like Accessibility Testing and Migration Testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Low Code/No Code automation tools (e.g., Copado Robotics Testing).
• Salesforce.com Administrator Certification (ADM201 or higher) is preferred.
