Job Description
**Position Summary** As a Lead Business Transformation Architect at Deloitte Consulting, you will oversee the technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions, lead cross-functional and global teams, and mentor junior members. You will collaborate to understand functional requirements, support sales and proposal efforts, and drive end-to-end project delivery, including estimation and planning.
**Key Responsibilities** - Own the OIC integration architecture for Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, and CX Sales/CPQ programs: define canonical data models, select integration patterns, resolve architectural conflicts, and maintain architecture decision logs. - Design enterprise integration governance standards: naming conventions, versioning strategies, environment promotion pipelines, adapter reuse policies, and quarterly update readiness protocols. - Architect REST and SOAP API strategies using OAS 3.0: API design standards, OAuth 2.0/JWT security frameworks, rate limiting governance, developer portal structure, and API lifecycle management. - Lead error handling architecture: define enterprise fault envelope standards, dead-letter queue design, idempotency controls, monitoring dashboard configuration, and on-call runbook ownership. - Design canonical data model frameworks that decouple integrations from Oracle SaaS field-level changes to ensure resilience against quarterly updates. - Lead multi-workstream OIC delivery: own delivery plans, manage onshore/offshore teams of 4–10, track dependencies, and present program status to client steering committees. - Review and approve integration designs produced by Specialist Seniors; enforce pattern consistency and error handling standards. - Manage VP-level client stakeholder relationships independently: lead architecture review boards, present design decisions, manage escalations, and advise on build-vs-configure trade-offs. - Evaluate middleware co-existence and rationalization scenarios: define co-existence models or OIC consolidation roadmaps for estates running MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or IBM MQ alongside OIC. - Contribute to business development: author integration architecture sections of RFP responses, present at proposal orals, and develop reusable OIC accelerators and pattern libraries. - Mentor Specialist Seniors through structured design reviews, pattern guidance, and deliberate stretch assignments.
**Qualifications** Must Have: - 9–12 years of enterprise integration or Oracle cloud implementation experience, with 6+ years focused on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). - Led at least two full-cycle OIC program architectures from discovery through go-live covering Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, or CX connectivity. - Deep hands-on experience across OIC integration patterns: orchestration, choreography, pub-sub, scheduled batch, file-based, and event-driven. - Enterprise canonical data model design experience: schema versioning, payload normalization, adapter decoupling, and integration resilience. - API management architecture experience: OAS 3.0 API design, OAuth 2.0/JWT security policy implementation, rate limiting, developer portal governance, and API lifecycle management in Oracle API Gateway. - Error handling architecture experience: enterprise fault envelope definition, dead-letter queue design, idempotency controls, monitoring strategy, and production incident management. - Demonstrated track record leading multi-workstream OIC delivery programs ($2M–$5M TCV) with onshore and offshore teams. - Proven ability to manage VP-level client relationships independently. - Experience evaluating or executing middleware rationalization: co-existence modelling or migration planning for MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, or IBM MQ alongside OIC.
Good to Have: - Active Oracle certifications (Integration Cloud Specialist, Application Integration Specialist, API Platform Cloud Service, OCI Certified Professional). - Exposure to Oracle Process Automation (OPA) and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). - Experience designing ERP-specific enterprise integration architectures: P2P, O2C, R2R, and HCM hire-to-retire. - Familiarity with OCI streaming, OCI Functions, and API Gateway for serverless integration extension patterns. - Experience contributing to Oracle Alliance co-sell activities and joint solution plays.
