Job Description: This role involves the development and application of engineering practice in mechanical systems design, device and equipment installation/maintenance, simulation of real-world interactions, performance evaluation, and prototype development for manufacturability, testing, and validation. Grade Specific Focus: Concentrates on Mechanical and Physical Engineering. Develops competency in a specific area of expertise while sharing knowledge and providing guidance to peers. Required Qualifications
Non-Linear Finite Element Analysis (NLFEA) expertise
Proficiency in FEA software (Abaqus/ANSYS/Nastran)
Strong understanding of structural mechanics & material properties
3+ years of simulation experience
Hands-on experience with mesh generation & boundary conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced nonlinear contact analysis
Experience with multiphysics simulations
Knowledge of manufacturing processes & DFM
Familiarity with scripting for automation (Python/MATLAB)
Industry experience in automotive/aerospace sectors
