Infor XA Developer

Design, develop, and support Infor XA (MAPICS) applications aligned with SKF manufacturing operations. Work on RPG IV (RPGLE), CL, and DB2/400 within IBM i (AS/400) environment. Analyze manufacturing processes (production planning, procurement, inventory, order management) and translate into XA solutions. Configure and customize Infor XA modules such as Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing. Support end-to-end business processes including shop floor, supply chain, and logistics. Develop enhancements, reports, and interfaces within Infor XA system. Perform unit testing, SIT, and UAT ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting manufacturing and distribution workflows. Work with DB2 database for file design, queries, and performance optimization. Integrate Infor XA with MES, SAP, or other enterprise systems within SKF ecosystem. Use development tools such as SEU, PDM, RDi, X-Analyze, and Infor XA development utilities. Support EDI, APIs, and middleware integrations (IBM MQ, web services). Participate in system upgrades, patches, and modernization initiatives (Infor OS, cloud transition). Ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to SKF IT governance standards. Collaborate with global business users, plant teams, and cross-functional IT teams. Maintain detailed technical documentation for XA customizations and processes.
